Kashubia by bike

Kashubia is a paradise for lovers of two wheels.

Kashubia is a paradise for lovers of two wheels. The varied, undulating terrain, not-high climbs, lots of scenic spots and plenty of forests make this corner of Poland one of the most attractive places in the country for cycling. Even in the middle of summer, the trails are empty, and wherever you go you will find something interesting for yourself.

We suggest several routes from the base of this website, adapted for both mountain and road bikes. In the resources of this portal there are many more bicycle routes – from short, hour-long rides to demanding, all-day loops.

Route I. On the Stężyce bicycle paths

The 30-kilometer bicycle loop circles the most scenically varied part of Kashubian Switzerland. The vast majority of the route follows separated bicycle paths, only about 1/4 of its length connects with local roads. Along the way you can bathe at Lake Raduńskie Górne or the secluded, forested Lake Dąbrowskie and see the barrow burial ground in Uniradzy, hidden deep in the forest.

Length: 35 km

Riding time: 3-4 hours

Difficulty level: easy

Route II. Kashubian lakes

A proposal for mountain bike enthusiasts. The route runs mostly along forest dirt and gravel roads, crossing the naturally valuable parts of Kashubia around the village of Sulęczyno. For long stretches, the road follows the shores of Lake Mausz and Lake Sumino, ideal for a refreshing swim during the trip. Deviating a kilometer from the route on a dirt road, you can also see the stone circles in Węsiory, about which we write more here.

Length: 28 km

Riding time: about 3 hours

Difficulty level: medium
