If you miss skiing during your winter stay in the Sudetes, head to Szklarska Poręba. In this mountain resort at the foot of the Karkonosze, a ski resort awaits you on Szrenica with 12 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty.
A chairlift reaches the very top of Szrenica (1362 meters above sea level), from where you can ski down one of five pistes – from the FIS-approved black “one” (in the steepest place, simply called “the wall”, the drop reaches 50%) to the gentle “four”.
The harsh climate of the Karkonosze and the northern exposure of the slope mean that snow on Szrenica lasts for a long time. There are rental offices on site, so you do not have to bring your equipment with you. Variety and a small adrenaline boost in a slow relaxation guaranteed!
