Direction – healthy food. “Perski Izerski” Fair

Honey straight from the mountain apiary, real sourdough bread (not to be confused with the bread you can buy in a store or regular bakery!), cheese straight from the sheep or goat, as well as handmade clothing, jewelry, including lots of second-hand items – all this and much more you can get at the “Perski Izerski” Fair, held in the spring and summer on the grounds near the medieval settlement of Kopaniec.

“Perski Izerski” is first and foremost an atmospheric local market with healthy, industrially unprocessed food from local farmers and artisans.

Many of them, such as the unmistakable Polish preserves and pickles are packed in jars and you can confidently take them home with you. Used items are also exchanged on site: clothes, books, records, and children and adults can take part in handicraft workshops. There is no shortage of stands where you can simply eat well, drink coffee or beer from a local brewery. An attraction in itself is also the location of the fair – a picturesque meadow at the foot of the spruce-lined Izera Mountains.

If you are in these parts, be sure to visit the “Perski Izerski”!

The fair is held every month from May to October.
