Hier kann man die wahrscheinlich besten Teigtaschen in der Gegend essen und ziellos zwischen einst\u00f6ckigen H\u00e4usern mit charakteristischen Holzveranden umherwandern. Besuchen Sie unbedingt die \u00f6rtliche <strong>Synagoge<\/strong>, ein wundersch\u00f6nes Denkmal der polnisch-j\u00fcdischen Geschichte und Kultur.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Der Marktplatz von Tykocin ist eine un\u00fcbersehbare Verbindung von Eleganz und Provinzialit\u00e4t. Die Stadt war bei den polnischen K\u00f6nigen beliebt, die hier oft auf dem Weg zur Jagd im Bia\u0142owie\u017ca-Wald oder nach Litauen, das jahrhundertelang einen gemeinsamen Staat mit Polen bildete, \u00fcbernachteten. Der zentrale Platz der Stadt wird von einer anmutigen Barockkirche abgeschlossen. Gleich nebenan, unter der Nummer 11, befindet sich das Piroggenrasrtaurant <strong>Tykocin Pierogarnia<\/strong>. Wie durch ein Wunder aus der Dunkelheit des Holocaust gerettet, beeindruckt sie mit ihrem originalen polychromen und einzigartigen Aronha-Kodesch-Altarschrank.
